What an Educational Video Does

Educational Videos That Engage and Teach

Informational videos teach your audience something useful while building your authority in your industry.

We turn complicated topics, processes and products into clear videos people actually finish. That might be a capabilities video that explains your shop at a trade show, a client-education series that turns your blog posts into plain-English explainers, or training your team can watch on demand.

Can you turn our existing content into videos?

Yes. Blog posts, guides and presentations make great starting points. For Trust Point, we turned blog posts into a series of plain-English client-education videos.

Do we need to be on camera?

Not necessarily. Many educational videos feature a subject-matter expert from your team, but we can also build them around voiceover and footage. We'll recommend what fits your topic on the discovery call.

Is it better to make one long video or a series?

Usually a series. Shorter videos focused on one topic each are easier to watch, easier to update and easier to share. We'll help you map out the right number on the discovery call.

How long does an educational video project take?

Most projects take 6 to 8 weeks from the initial discovery call to final delivery. Larger series can take longer, and we'll lay out the timeline in your proposal.

How much does an educational video cost?

Most projects range from $8,000 to $25,000, depending mostly on how many videos are in the series and how many locations they need.

Do you make educational and training videos outside the Twin Cities?

Yes. DMM Productions is based in Minneapolis-Saint Paul and films educational and training videos for clients throughout Minnesota, Wisconsin and the greater Midwest.
